Our Laundry Room

Our small sized laundry room also doubles as a mudroom because it’s the first room as you enter our home from the garage. With that in mind, it needed to not only handle sorting and washing and drying laundry, but also all our shoes, jackets, and backpacks. PLUS we use it as the cat litter box area AND the space we hang our pool towels in the summer. It truly is the hardest working space in our home despite being the smallest!

Because it’s such a hard working space, we had to make sure it had wall-mounted drying racks, hooks, and laundry bags. Also the small cabinets are meticulously organized in order to be able to find what we need exactly when we need it. Now it’s easy to do laundry and pop a load into the washer or dryer as I pass by the room throughout the day.
