Maybe you have heard about all the great things about cleaning with vinegar, yet you still have questions. Does vinegar actually kill germs? Can you use vinegar in the bathroom? How do you clean with vinegar without making your house smell like a jar of pickles? 😆
I answer all of these questions – and so many more – in my eBook. The best part is, I am not charging you a dime. I’m giving it to you for free because I believe so much in this natural ingredient as a powerful cleaner.
Why Use Vinegar To Clean
Vinegar is a popular all-natural cleaner that lots of people use all over their homes. This DIY cleaner is even stronger when you add other ingredients to it, like essential oils.
By itself, it still has value as a non-toxic cleaning product. It can cut through grime and even kill some household bacteria. It’s as easy as spraying it on the surface and just giving it a quick wipe.
It’s also less expensive than store-bought cleaners, especially if you purchase vinegar in large containers.
Saving money, protecting the environment, AND using less toxins in your home? Sounds like a win to me!
Ways To Use Vinegar As A Cleaner
You can literally use vinegar to clean just about every surface of your home.
You can use vinegar to clean your grout because it eats through soap scum easily. Or, use it to freshen up your laundry. Add vinegar and baking soda to a dryer ball, and it will get wrinkles out of clothes and make them smell fresh and clean!
For more ideas, this guide will tell you everything you need to know about cleaning with vinegar. You can use it in just about every room – from cleaning your windows to scrubbing your sinks and even cleaning toilets.

Vinegar Cleaning Tips
I’ll share some really quick tips with you now, but there are even more tricks in the eBook. Keep scrolling to grab your free copy.
- Always dilute the vinegar with water. This will protect your granite counters, keep the odor mild, and give you more bang for your buck.
- Store your cleaner in a glass spray bottle. This makes it easy to give it a quick shake before spraying to make sure any essential oils are well incorporated. Plus, glass spray bottles also protect the oils from erosion. Essentials oils are so powerful that they could extract chemicals from plastic spray bottles.
- You can also use vinegar to soak your dishes. It will help you get stuck-on foods off without scrubbing too much.
What Type of Vinegar to Use for Cleaning
While there are stronger versions of vinegar to use (such as vinegar specifically labeled for cleaning), regular strength should work just fine unless you’re tackling a large or heavy-duty cleaning situation. You can also purchase scented vinegar if you’d like to cover up the traditional smell (such as citrus scented vinegar or eucalyuptus scented vinegar.)
